In March 2018, when Clinique launched its new Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator, ActMedia adopted an O2O (Online-to-Offline) strategy to create a smooth awareness-to-conversion journey for consumers. On the digital front, the campaign kickstarted with a series of social media posts to introduce the product and educate consumers on its features. An online sampling campaign was also carried out to encourage trial and purchase. The group who tried the product was retargeted with a series of EDMs for engagement and conversion. In the post-event phase, user generated content and testimonials were constantly used on social media to reinforced the key benefits of the product.
